Medical Student Conference Scholarships

Benjamin Rush Institute (BRI) provided medical students with scholarships to cover registration and defer travel cost for attending healthcare related conferences across the country. A total of 51 students attended a variety of conferences including the Docs 4 Patient Care Foundation’s Certificate of Need and Direct Primary Care conferences, CMA’s Western Healthcare Leadership Academy, and the Free Market Medical Association’s 2017 annual conference, among others. BRI gathered feedback and testimonials from students, with many also writing blog posts about their experiences. Many of the students drafted blog posts about their experiences attending the conference, which can be found on BRI’s website.
