The South Dakota Center for Physician Resources
To address the needs of physicians in multiple practice settings and offer solutions to help them maintain success, the Foundation, with the assistance of the SDSMA, will establish the South Dakota Center for Physician Resources (Center). The Center will offer innovative programs and tools in response to the needs of physicians for information, education, and support to assist them in their care of patients and in reaching their personal and professional development goals. The Center will develop information, education, and support for personal health and wellness, professional medical practice support, and leadership and advocacy. Within each area, programs will be developed to provide focused resources. Using a multi-year plan, the Center will initially implement programs related to financial planning and the business side of practicing medicine.
