Our grantmaking philosophy
The Physicians Foundation is dedicated to supporting nonprofit organizations, universities, hospital systems and medical society foundations through various health care grants that seek to advance the work of practicing physicians and improve the delivery of health care in America. Since 2005, the Foundation has awarded numerous multi-year grants totaling nearly $49 million.
Our numerous grants have made great strides in helping to develop physician leadership skills, tackle vital challenges such as physician shortage, deliver quality health care to patients, raise the bar for health information technology, and more.
