Joy Maxey is a Board Member of the Physicians Foundation and has worked in private practice for more than 30 years. She is the Founder and President of Atlanta Children’s Clinical Center. Throughout her career, she has served in multiple leadership positions in the Medical Association of Georgia, the Medical Association of Georgia Foundation and the American Medical Association. She has also served in leadership positions in several child advocacy groups including past Chairman of the Children and Youth Coordinating Council and the Founder and past president of Safe Kids of Georgia.
