Physician Leadership Series
The Physician Leadership Summit will host 150 physicians at quarterly conferences. Regional stakeholders in health care will serve as each conference’s keynote speaker. To best determine what topics to cover at these all-day conferences, the Foundation will conduct a needs assessment of Delaware physicians as the preliminary stage of the project. In workshops and individual breakout sessions, physicians will identify their leadership styles and learn about healthcare trends. The curriculum will integrate the 12 behavioral competencies outlined in a 2011 national research study by the Morgan Executive Development Institute, including conflict management, strategic perspective, and adaptability. The Foundation will administer follow-up surveys to assess real life application of learnings. It will also conduct pre- and post-evaluations and adjust based on this feedback.
