KMS Leadership Institute: Building on Success
Kansas Medical Foundation plans to expand its leadership institute which currently is a one-day program offering physicians an introduction to leadership principles. KMF will partner with the Kansas Leadership Center to broaden the scope of the Leadership Institute in three areas. The Fellows program will offer in person sessions and webinars highlighting leadership competencies and coaching for physicians. KMF will partner with KHC to develop education opportunities for physician led teams to problem solve on issues facing their practices. The third component of the program is to provide training for staff to understand the physician leadership efforts. The program expects to serve 100 physicians through the on-day program, 25 physicians in the fellowship, and 15 physician-led teams.
