Medical Educational and Scientific Foundation of New York

The project is designed to enable younger physicians to understand the parameters of leadership demands and to encourage them to step into leadership positions in the rapidly changing practice environment. The project is to be established around short but direct instructional courses enabling physicians to better understand the essentials of leadership and the need for them to assume leadership roles.

Funding will begin a new series of Leadership Training programs to be offered in 10-12 locations in New York State. Based on our experience at the October 2013 seminar The MSSNY expects that the approach of developing and offering 2 hour programs will enable it to efficiently offer CME seminars to an average of 50-60 physicians per location.
