Initiative to provide education and resources to physicians and practices adopting health information technology
Medical Educational and Scientific Foundation of New York will conduct six educational forums on Medicaid and Medicare incentives and meaningful use. The forums will be targeted to physicians and office managers in practices of 25 physicians or fewer and specialty practices. Each forum will include a one-hour didactic presentation followed by small group discussions with experts, colleagues and vendors. Participants will receive a toolkit, which is to be developed as part of the project, and background information on vendors, regional extension center services and incentive programs.
