Physician Executive Development Education
The Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act (MACRA) will overhaul Medicare’s physician payment system starting in 2019, and much work needs to be done to implement the extensive changes MACRA demands. MSMS Foundation wants physicians to not only survive MACRA, but to thrive as well.
As with all changes, the learning curve is steep. MSMS Foundation will develop a suite of resources, programs and tools to help untangle the rules, ease the transition and improve opportunities for success.
All day conferences will be offered and on-demand webinars will be available to address the complexity and significant changes effecting how physicians are paid. Practical information such as the steps needed to be taken and timelines will also be addressed.
The roll out of a massive MACRA communication plan to provide guidance to simplify the transition is in the planning phase. All manner of communication tools will be employed offering concise information as physicians navigate the new system.
A network of resources will be developed to help physicians lead their health care teams as they prepare for the MACRA transition.
As more information becomes available, MSMS Foundation will remain at the forefront of the changes providing physicians and physician leaders with information to remain successful.
