Ohio Physician Leadership Institute
The purpose of the grant is to provide a leadership training institute for Ohio physicians in diverse practice settings to become transformational leaders in clinically integrated delivery systems. The Ohio Physician Leadership Institute (OPLI) is a partnership between Ohio State Medical Association (OSMA) and the Ohio Hospital Association (OHA). OPLI is working with the University of South Florida to develop the curriculum for the program, which will provide four one-and-a-half day trainings on various tracks. These include Strategy (decision making, finance, business skills), People (collaboration, negotiation, communication), Results (healthcare systems, medical staff, QI) and Self (character, accountability, adaptability). OPLI will apply for AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. OPLI will enroll 12-20 physicians per year.
