Jump-Starting Physician Leadership- A Catalyst to Start a Movement

Many physician-led organizations in the U.S. are eager to implement leadership education programs but have not for various reasons. This project will identify five such organizations through a competitive process and partner with them to deliver a comprehensive 1.5 day training program for their members. The program will feature training modules and resources that have been rigorously tested, refined and validated by the Institute over the years. The local partnering organizations will also collaborate to identify course content that address their particular needs and contexts. The ultimate goal of this workshop is to help organizations with no previous leadership training experience establish a foundation for their own physician leadership education programs.
