2013-2014 TMA Leadership College: Program Expansion
The purpose of the grant is to enhance the existing college by adding a mentor program, a scholar project, and adding education sessions. The Texas Medical Association Leadership College was launched in 2010 to provide physicians under the age of 40 with leadership skills. Class size is 20 scholars that are selected through an application process. The curriculum covers interpersonal skills, advocacy, communications, and healthcare trends. The enhanced program will add content to each of these focus areas and also include a scholar project and mentorship program.
