What we fund

The Physicians Foundation provides grants that aim to assist physicians in sustaining and advancing their medical practices, support the delivery of quality patient care and improve the health care system in America.

Application process

The Physicians Foundation encourages all qualified and eligible organizations to apply for available grants. Certain eligibility requirements apply, including:

  • Applicants must be in the United States
  • Applicants must be tax exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code or tax exempt educational institutions
  • Applicants must not be a private foundation as defined in IRC section 509 (a)

When a Request for Proposals is released, potential applicants should review the documents associated with the RFP.

Current RFP Opportunities

The Physicians Foundation grantmaking focuses on physician leadership and physician burnout, and releases RFPs on these or other topics as it identifies a need or interest.
