Alex Malter is a Board Member of The Physicians Foundation and has practiced internal medicine in rural Alaska for 20 years. He served for ten years as the Medicaid Medical Director for the State of Alaska and is on the board of the Alaska State Medical Association. He also serves as the Medical Director for the Quality Improvement Organization for for Alaska’s Medicare beneficiaries. Previously, he served as a faculty member at the University of Washington School of Public Health.
