Montana Physician Leadership Program
The purpose of the grant is to establish a leadership development program to build leadership capacity among Montana physicians using tools and intentional strategy. Leadership Montana, Montana Medical Society, and Rural Health Development, Inc. will collaborate with key leadership professionals to develop the Center for Leadership Excellence. The pilot Leadership Intelligence program will provide physicians with training to build, sharpen, and utilize leadership skills. The core modules cover emotional intelligence, critical thinking, relationship management, accountability, strategic thinking, and other relevant leadership topics. The program delivery will incorporate classroom instruction, one-on-one coaching, and roundtable discussions.
