The Ready to Lead: Physician Leadership in Integrated Settings program (R2L) prepares primary care physicians for leadership roles in medical groups, independent practice associations (IPAs), accountable care organizations (ACOs), and systems. The program emphasizes the development of mentor relationships between existing and emerging leadersÍž training in skills and competencies needed to advance to executive leadership positions.

IMQ will offer "Stepping Up to Leadership - the IMQ/PACE Platinum Training Program for Physician Leaders" in a different format than in years past. The program will be developed into a series of twelve, one-hour segments available as live webinars as well as on line enduring materials.

The goal of the leadership seminar is to help physicians understand and deal with the realities of the new paradigm of health care delivery and how that can effectively work and thrive in the changing environment. This project is a follow-on to the successful Leadership Seminar for Younger Physicians over the past two years as a weekend programs run in New York City, Syracuse, Albany and Buffalo.
