  • The Georgia Physicians Leadership Academy (GPLA) was established in 2007, by the MAG Foundation to develop physician leaders who will enhance the medical profession and the health care system and the quality of life in the state. The GLPA provides up to 15 physicians a 6-session, year-long in-person course, primarily on weekends with the exception of the advocacy session, spent at the State Capitol, meeting with legislators. Other topics covered include relationship building, conflict resolution, and media relations.
