The Physician Leadership Program

This grant will launch a comprehensive and innovative Physician Leadership Program for physicians in the state of Indiana. The Indiana Medical Foundation will deliver a program to physicians which is designed to provide the necessary leadership skills and business acumen to become innovative and strategic managers. The increasing regulatory compliance, linking of quality outcomes and patient satisfaction surveys to physician compensation and the introduction of new payment models (i.e. ACO and PCMH) have created significant gaps in the emerging healthcare markets. The IMF is confident that its role in developing physician leaders through its leadership program is critical to impacting practicing physicians, future physicians, hospitals, healthcare systems and patients.
