Program to develop and disseminate an electronic web-based toolkit on the EHR adoption
Louisiana Academy Family Physicians Foundation will develop an online, web-based toolkit for physicians adopting and implementing health information technology. The toolkit will include information, tools and resources on strategies for selecting and implementing EHRs, guidelines for achieving meaningful use and information on the Regional Extension Center. It is anticipated that 1,500 providers will be utilizing the toolkit in two years, 1,000 providers will achieve meaningful use of certified EHR technology and that all providers in Louisiana will have access to education and best practices regarding meaningful use of EHRs.
