Practice Viability Snapshot for Solo and Small Group Practices
Texas Medical Aassociation will develop a CME-accredited primer on financial management with wide applicability to physician offices of all sizes and types. Only a small portion of the publication will be Texas-specific, making it applicable nationwide. In collaboration with an outside vendor, TMA will offer a medical practice dashboard tool, featuring easy-to-read snapshots of key performance measures and benchmarks that are most important to a practice’s success. TMA will develop webinars and seminars to teach physicians how to make practice improvements and/or structure modifications based on practice performance measures. For practices requiring more extensive assistance, TMA offers consulting services and customized on-site training based on practice assessments. The goal of the project is to arm physicians with data and education on how to analyze practice measures to support the strategic decisions about their future in medicine and the viability of their practices.
