Vermont Practitioners Resource Center Expansion
The purpose of the grant is to provide leadership opportunities for Vermont physicians. The Vermont Practitioners Resource Center was created in June 2011 and has two goals: 1.) to provide tools, skills and learning opportunities to physician leaders; and 2.) to provide resources and support for problem solving challenges. The Vermont Medical Society Education and Research Foundation will expand the center over the next year to include two statewide conferences focused on physician leadership and to build a Physician Leadership Community, defined by geography or practice setting. The physician communities will provide peer support to physicians as well as educational activities. The leadership conferences will bring expert presenters, host a Leadership Boot Camp, and allow VMS Foundation to hear from practicing physicians on their needs
