PracticeNet Solutions: Initiative to improve access and care in counties surrounding Dallas and Austin, TX
Executive Summary: The Dallas Academy of Medicine developed PracticeNet Solutions with the goal to assist physician practices in providing free care to working uninsured patients. Funding from The Physicians Foundation enabled the Dallas Academy of Medicine to create the PracticeNet Solutions toolkit, which provides physicians with best practices to efficiently and effectively manage the care and costs of uninsured patients. The educational offerings were used to expand existing community services projects in Dallas and Austin, TX and aid a startup operation in Colorado Springs, CO. PracticeNet Solutions is available to members of the American Association of Medical Society Executives.
