Karl M. Altenburger, M.D. Physician Leadership Academy
Each year, the Karl M. Altenburger, M.D. Physician Leadership Academy provides a select group of young FMA member physicians with in-depth training in core competencies to build their leadership skills. Currently, participants meet five times a year (October, December, February, May and July) for day-long sessions that provide them with new techniques and skills that they can apply to daily practice situations. The Foundation for Health Floridians works with the University of Florida Executive Education team to develop the curriculum for each of the sessions listed below. Faculty and consultants from UF and the Executive Education team serve as instructors.
