Ohio Physician Well-Being Institute
This year at the Ohio State Medical Association’s (OSMA) annual education symposium, a special physician well-being track has been added for the first time since the event has taken place. The well-being track is designed for individual physicians and physician leaders who are responsible for well-being initiatives in their health systems, hospitals and practices.
The Education Symposium is held on only one day in Columbus, Ohio. OSMA is working to replicate this program and take it to other areas of the state geographically, as well as offer it to hospitals and large practices that might not have the benefits of a fully functional physician well-being initiative.
Speakers for these sessions have already been established through the education symposium and the creation of the OSMA Well-Being Physician Committee which combines the knowledge and talent of well-being leaders from across the state of Ohio.
