Initiative to develop and implement a program assisting physicians in adoption of EMRs and meeting the guidelines for meaningful use

The Physicians’ Institute will implement a project to assist physician practices in the adoption of electronic medical records (EMRs) and meeting qualifications for meaningful use. Ten practices that have not yet implemented EMRs will be selected to receive support and consulting services. Practices will receive monthly consultation from EMR consultants engaged by the applicant to provide on-going advice, tools and support throughout the project.
