Chip Baggett, JD is a Board Member of The Physicians Foundation, and has been Executive Vice President & Chief Executive Officer of the North Carolina Medical Society since September 2020. Mr. Baggett has held a number of different positions with the NCMS since 2007 overseeing advocacy, communications, and fundraising efforts. Originally trained as an art teacher, he has also worked with community non-profits, pharmaceutical companies, and led a county medical society. Mr. Baggett received his undergraduate degree from Appalachian State University. He graduated from the evening program at the NC Central University School of Law while working for NCMS.
